Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and MyRemoteAlly.com ("MyRemoteAlly," "we," "us," or "our"), governing your access to and use of the website located at myremoteally.com and any associated services, features, content, or applications (collectively, the "Service").
By accessing or using the Service in any manner — including browsing job listings, subscribing to job alerts, submitting a contact form, or posting a job — you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference.
If you are using the Service on behalf of a company, organisation, or other legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms, and "you" shall refer to that entity.
Using the site = agreeing to these terms. This includes just browsing. If you're acting on behalf of a company, you're agreeing on their behalf too.
Description of Service
MyRemoteAlly is an AI-powered remote job aggregation platform. Our Service includes:
- Automated scraping, AI verification, and display of remote job listings sourced from third-party websites, employer career pages, and job boards
- Search and filtering functionality to browse job listings by role, category, employment type, and remote eligibility
- Job alert email subscriptions for newly posted remote opportunities
- Employer-facing job posting tools allowing direct listing of remote positions on the platform
- Informational content, blog posts, and resources related to remote work
MyRemoteAlly is a discovery and aggregation platform only. We do not recruit, hire, or manage employment on behalf of any company. We do not act as an employment agency, staffing firm, or recruiter. Clicking a job listing will take you to the original job posting on a third-party website.
Eligibility
To use the Service, you must meet the following requirements:
- You must be at least 16 years of age. If you are between 16 and 18, you represent that you have parental or legal guardian consent to use the Service.
- You must have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract in your jurisdiction.
- You must not be prohibited from receiving services under the laws of your applicable jurisdiction.
- Your use must not have been previously suspended or terminated by us for violation of these Terms.
We reserve the right to refuse access to the Service to any person or entity at our sole discretion.

Violations of these permitted use rules may result in immediate suspension or permanent termination of your access to the Service, without notice or refund, and may be reported to relevant authorities where applicable.

If you are using MyRemoteAlly to search for employment opportunities, you agree to and acknowledge the following:
Accuracy of Listings
Job listings displayed on our platform are aggregated from third-party sources. While we use AI to verify listings and filter out scams, we cannot guarantee that all information is accurate, current, or complete at the time you view it. Job availability, salary ranges, role descriptions, and employer details are subject to change without notice.
No Employment Guarantee
MyRemoteAlly does not guarantee employment, interviews, or any specific outcome from using the Service. We are a discovery platform only. All hiring decisions are made solely by the employers who own and manage the listed positions.
Third-Party Applications
When you click a job listing and apply through a third-party website, you are subject to that website's terms of service and privacy policy. MyRemoteAlly has no control over the application process, data handling, or communications once you leave our platform.
Job Alert Emails
By subscribing to job alerts, you consent to receiving automated email communications from MyRemoteAlly containing new job listings. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link included in every alert email. We will not use your email address for any purpose other than delivering alerts you have opted into.
Although we filter for scams, exercise caution with any employer requesting upfront payments, excessive personal details before an interview, or promises of unusually high salaries for minimal work. Report suspected scams to safety@myremoteally.com.
Employers & Job Posters
If you post a job listing on MyRemoteAlly, whether through our self-serve posting tool or a paid package, you agree to the following additional terms:
Listing Requirements
- All job listings must represent genuine, currently open employment positions at a real company.
- All roles must be fully remote — meaning employees can work from any location without requirement to report to a physical office. Hybrid or "remote-first" roles that still require occasional in-person attendance must be clearly labelled as such.
- Listings must not discriminate on the basis of race, gender, age, religion, nationality, disability, or any other protected characteristic under applicable law.
- Listings must not require job seekers to pay fees, purchase materials, or make any financial outlay as a condition of application or employment.
- You must have the authority to represent the hiring company and post on its behalf.

Content Moderation
We reserve the right to review, edit, or remove any job listing at our sole discretion, without notice or refund, if we determine it violates these Terms, is misleading, fraudulent, or inconsistent with our platform standards. Repeat violations may result in permanent suspension of your employer account.
Intellectual Property
All content on MyRemoteAlly — including but not limited to the website design, logo, user interface, original text, graphics, AI models, software, and the selection and arrangement of aggregated content — is owned by or licensed to MyRemoteAlly and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Our Content
You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, transmit, display, publish, sell, license, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our prior written consent, except as expressly permitted by these Terms.
Aggregated Job Content
Job listings displayed on our platform originate from third-party sources and remain the intellectual property of their respective owners. We aggregate and display this content under fair use and standard web practices. If you believe we are displaying content in violation of your intellectual property rights, please contact us at legal@myremoteally.com.
Your Content
If you submit content to us (such as a job listing or a contact message), you grant MyRemoteAlly a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, store, display, and process that content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Service.
Feedback
Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you provide about the Service are entirely voluntary, and we may use them without any obligation, compensation, or attribution to you.
Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
Specifically, MyRemoteAlly does not warrant or represent that:
- Job listings are accurate, complete, current, or free from errors
- The Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
- Any job listing represents a genuine employment opportunity
- Applying to jobs via our platform will result in interviews or employment
- The AI verification system will catch all fraudulent or misleading listings
- Third-party employer websites are safe, accurate, or compliant with applicable law
Nothing on MyRemoteAlly constitutes career, legal, financial, or tax advice. Always conduct your own due diligence before applying to a position or engaging with a potential employer.
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL MYREMOTEALLY, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, PARTNERS, AGENTS, SUPPLIERS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY:
- Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- Loss of profits, revenue, data, business opportunities, or goodwill
- Damages arising from your reliance on any job listing, employer communication, or content on the Site
- Damages resulting from any fraudulent, scam, or misleading job listing
- Damages from unauthorised access to or alteration of your data
- Damages from any interruption, suspension, or termination of the Service
WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE TOTAL AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRIOR TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD $100.

Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless MyRemoteAlly and its officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, licensors, and successors from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from or related to:
- Your access to or use of the Service
- Your violation of any provision of these Terms
- Your violation of any third-party rights, including intellectual property or privacy rights
- Any content you submit, post, or transmit through the Service
- Any fraudulent, inaccurate, or misleading job listing you post
- Any claim that your job listing caused harm to a job seeker
We reserve the right, at our own expense, to assume exclusive control of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification by you. You agree to cooperate with our defence of any such claim.
Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including but not limited to:
- Violation of these Terms or our community standards
- Engaging in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity on the platform
- Posting scam, misleading, or non-remote job listings
- Attempting to scrape, overload, or interfere with the Service
- Any behaviour we determine to be harmful to users, the platform, or third parties
You may also stop using the Service at any time. If you have an active job alert subscription, you may unsubscribe via the link in any alert email or by contacting us.
Upon termination, all licences and rights granted to you under these Terms immediately cease. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnification — will remain in effect.
Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
Informal Resolution First
Before initiating any formal legal proceeding, you agree to first contact us at legal@myremoteally.com and attempt to resolve the dispute informally. We will make good-faith efforts to resolve any dispute within 30 days of receiving written notice.
Arbitration
If informal resolution fails, any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved by binding arbitration rather than in court, except that you may bring a claim in small claims court if it qualifies.
Class Action Waiver
YOU AND MYREMOTEALLY AGREE THAT EACH MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN YOUR OR ITS INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION.
If you are located in the European Union or United Kingdom, you may have additional rights under applicable consumer protection law that cannot be waived by these Terms. Nothing herein limits those statutory rights.
Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will:

- Display a notice on the Site for at least 30 days following the update
- For significant changes, notify job alert subscribers via email
Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of any revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the updated agreement. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Service.
